Advanced surveillance solutions safeguard Albania's water infrastructure

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, announced a nationwide initiative to equip water supply facilities with 24/7 surveillance cameras. The program aims to strengthen the safety and quality of water distribution across the country.

Work is already underway in Fier, Mallakastër, Patos, and Roskovec, where 143 facilities are being secured with fencing and high-definition monitoring cameras. The system allows real-time oversight through dedicated operation and monitoring centers, ensuring immediate response to any irregularities.

The project, implemented with iSec's technological expertise, represents a significant step in reinforcing water security and delivering uninterrupted, safe service to citizens.

Minister Balluku emphasized that the process will continue to expand across other regions, setting higher standards of safety and reliability in Albania's water supply system.
