The upgrade and automatization of dam monitoring systems at Fierzë, Koman, and Vau i Dejes Hydropower Plants

This project aims to rehabilitate and maintain the automatic monitoring systems of the dams for three years, including replacing damaged equipment and ensuring spare parts availability.

It involves the supply, installation, and calibration of new sensors, configuring dataloggers, and installing new PCs with management software. Additionally, central software will be installed on existing servers at KESH headquarters in Tirana to centralize and analyze monitoring data from all the dams.

This strategic initiative focused on rehabilitating and maintaining the automatic monitoring systems of three major hydroelectric dams in Albania, under the Albanian Electric Power Corporation (KESH) Today known as OSHEE. The project covered a three-year maintenance period, ensuring the continuous reliability, accuracy, and operational efficiency of critical dam infrastructure.
